    What Is Physical Abuse?
Physical abuse consists of anything one person does to another that causes physical pain. This includes slapping, pinching, punching, pushing, throwing objects at another person, assaulting someone with an object or anything that brings about physical pain or discomfort to another. Physical abuse can result in bruises, black eyes, knocked out teeth, broken bones, internal organ injuries, miscarriage, brain concussions, emotional pain/issues, or sometimes death.

    Steps To Overcome Previous Abuse
-Step One: Accept and realize it ISN'T your fault! No one deserves to be physically abused in any way shape or form.
-Step Two: Tell someone about what happened!
-Step Three: Take proper steps into making sure you are safe and it wont happen again. This could mean: taking legal action, breaking up a relationship, moving away, etc.
-Step Four: Do research on types of physical abuse: read true stories, news articles, laws, etc.
-Step Five- Look into different types of therapy: Internet, get referral from a doctor or religious group, call a hotline
-Step Six- GET HELP and stick with the therapy.

Most people suffering from past physical abuse more then likely will have most of their trouble in trusting others and/or trusting themselves. This could cause problems in future relationships, work, family or even sometimes just being scared to go into public places. With the proper treatment and sticking to the treatment these problems can be greatly lowered and over time go away almost completely if not completely.
